The Silverback SRS-A1 16'' Covert is a fully licenced version of the Desert Tech Scout Recon Stealth A1 bullpup sniper rifle, it is available in push bolt (SBA-BLT-03) or pull bolt (SBA-BLT-06).

The SRS A1 16'' Covert version has an minimum overall length of 675/699 mm, and a minimum weight of 2.97/3.17 Kg depending the versions (please refer the chart page 29 of the user manual).

- Push bolt
- With the push bolt version, the spring is compressed while pushing the bolt forward. This version uses a steel cylinder, a monolythic steel bolt head, an aluminium piston with a silent AEG piston head (with thrust bearing) and a steel piston end. This push forward bolt uses AEG springs (with a compressed length strictly inferior to 46mm and an inside diameter strictly superior to 11mm), and the air volume is 28 cc. Customers can request bellow 2 or bellow 1 Joule muzzle kinetic energy. This version allows a quick and realistic disassembly of the bolt from the receiver.
- Pull bolt
- With the pull bolt version, the spring is compressed while pulling the bolt backward. This version uses a steel cylinder, a monolythic steel bolt head, an aluminium piston with a silent piston head and a steel piston end. This pull back bolt uses APS 13 mm springs, and the air volume is 41 cc. Customers can request bellow 2 or bellow 1 Joule muzzle kinetic energy. This version allows a quick spring change, without any tools, in just seconds.
Both systems are available in right and left handed versions, and all of them includes:
- Monolithic receiver: CNC 6061 T5 aluminium, a massive piece, over one kilogram, featuring the quick change attachment system patented by Desert Tech LLC. Each receiver has a unique CNC engraved serial number.
- Outer barrel made by CNC, 6061 T6 aluminium, deep fluting, with an inner diameter of 8.56 mm eliminating the necessity of barrel spacers. The airsoft SRS-A1 16'' is equipped with a 6.05 x 420 mm (AEG type) brass inner barrel and thread protector (fixed on a 14 CCW airsoft standard barrel thread).
- Two way aluminium hop up unit, directly attached to the quick change barrel assembly, allowing barrel switch in seconds while keeping your hop up setting. Hop up setting is done by two screws on top of the rifle, through the receiver, with the provided key, without removing the barrel, the magazine or the optic. Hopup rubber is AEG type.
- Railed handguard: CNC 6061 T5 aluminium and fiber reinforced nylon additional rails (3 pieces included). Rail system is attached to the receiver via a sturdy 38x2mm thread.
- Rifle stock is made of fiber reinforced nylon. Black, Flat Dark Earth and OD colors are available.
- Fiber reinforced nylon buttpad extension (2 pieces included).
- Steel magazine, with reinforced nylon internal, 30 rounds capacity.
- Monopod, accurate replica of the Desert Tech LLC patented monopod, CNC 6061 aluminium.
- CNC aluminium trigger, with position and preload adjustment.
- No injection molding metal parts, no zinc alloy, all screws are in 10.9 steel.
